The MXR Rockman X100 Analog Tone Processor revives the signature sonic character of its headphone amp namesake in stompbox form. That device was more than just a headphone amp, though, and this pedal captures all the magic that made it the secret weapon for nailing the 1980s arena rock sound. With the same four tonal presets, carefully calibrated compression, and bucket-brigade chorusing, this all-analog recreation also features both mono and stereo modes and optional external mode switching for an enhanced user experience.
The Mick Ronson Cry Baby Wah taps into the vibrant, melodic character of one of rock ’n’ roll’s most gifted songwriters. The Cry Baby Wah was key to Ronson’s tone-shaping vision throughout his work with David Bowie and many others. Carefully studying his personal pedal—an early Italian-made model whose vintage components imbue it with a truly singular sound—our engineers faithfully recreated its exquisitely balanced wah profile: bright and clear with peaks that stay musically smooth.
This limited edition version of the Kirk Hammett Cry Baby Wah delivers the heavy metal legend’s signature wah tones in a special yellow sparkle finish. It’s based on Kirk’s own Cry Baby Rack Wah settings, recreating the sound that he used to fire up the licks that revolutionized metal solos.
