Snarky Puppy is better described as a collective rather than a band, featuring a rotating cast of regular members whose individual backgrounds and playing styles converge into a magnificently funky fusion of jazz, gospel, R&B, and whatever else feels right.
Dunlop gear is a staple in the group, from MXR®, Way Huge®, and Echoplex® pedals to Flow® Picks and Dunlop Strings. The MXR Vintage Bass Octave is a particular favorite, with Snarky Puppy founder and bass player Michael League praising its “old-school, deep, clubby sub-octave sound with loads of personality.”
