Keb' Mo' has walked a distinguished path as one of the most important contemporary bluesmen, channeling the Delta traditions of his predecessors with the discerning ear of a modern player and a tremendous gift for telling stories. His solo work has earned him four Grammy Awards, and he has lent his guitar-playing, songwriting, and singing talents to a wide range of artists from Eric Clapton and Bonnie Raitt to Marcus Miller.
The slide plays a significant part in Keb’s connection to the Delta roots of his style, and his weapon of choice in that regard is his own signature Mudslide. “It’s very well designed,” he says. “The weight and balance factor are perfect.”
